Kayser (pronounced Kay-sir) is from the Arabic word meaning “ruler”.
Baraka (pronounced like our Kenyan American president plus an “ah” at the end) means “blessed” in Swahili.
1 Timothy 6:15 says God is the BLESSED and only RULER, the King of kings and Lord of lords. We pray our son’s name will be a testimony to him and others of our Great God.
My fellow photographer friend, Sarah had her first baby and I was so honored to be able to capture her sweet boy! It’s always an honor to be asked by other photographers to capture their families. I couldn’t think of a higher compliment. Kayser was a dream baby to photograph. He started off awake and I got to snap his beautiful dark brown eyes, then halfway through he fell asleep after a good nursing session. Don’t get me wrong, I love an awake baby, but sleeping babies are always a blast to photograph! I could have stared at him all day. I couldn’t get over how cute he was! Congrats Karl & Sarah!
